We think that this is truly one of the most unique mince pies out there. Paying homage to Gaya's Sri Lankan heritage, our house made mincemeat is inspired by the flavours of a traditional Sri Lankan Christmas cake (also known on the island as a ‘rich cake’). Made with a unique blend of candied and vine fruit, stem ginger and cashew nuts together with the fragrant flavours of almond, rose and cardamom, this heady concoction is matured in lashings of brandy before being encased in an intricately moulded sweet pastry. The topping is a buttery vanilla Viennese pastry embellished with a crunchy sugar encrusted shortcrust star.

These are deep filled pies and each one weighs just under 100g. Comes beautifully packaged as a pack of 4 pies - perfect for gifting!

Lead Times

We offer next day collection/delivery (if this coincides with one of our biweekly delivery days) if ordered before 3pm.

Delivery

Delivery is available for local SW London postcodes twice a week. This is charged at a flat rate of £8.95 and is available for Tuesdays and Fridays, subject to a minimum order of £59.95.
